Car Hangout grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. You do not gain ownership rights to any part of the App or its content.
Car Hangout is a community platform for car enthusiasts. We provide tools for users to share content, connect, and promote events. We do not sponsor, organize, or control events, vendors, or user activity.
By posting or submitting content to the App, you retain ownership of your content. However, you grant Car Hangout a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide, transferable license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content within the App and in connection with promoting Car Hangout.
You may not use the App to:
If you attend an event found through Car Hangout, you are solely responsible for your conduct and agree to follow all laws, event rules, and safety requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
The App may include or rely on third-party services (such as maps, analytics, ads, or payment providers). Car Hangout is not responsible for their availability, performance, or policies.
The App may display advertisements or sponsored content. Car Hangout does not endorse advertised products or services and is not responsible for any resulting transactions.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Car Hangout may suspend, withdraw, or limit the App at any time.
Car Hangout makes no claim that the App or its content is accessible or appropriate outside the United States. Access may not be legal in certain jurisdictions. Users who access the App from outside the U.S. do so at their own risk.
Content on the App is for entertainment and community purposes only and should not be considered professional, legal, safety, or mechanical advice. Users rely on information at their own risk.
The App is provided "as is" and without warranties of any kind. Car Hangout does not guarantee uninterrupted service, availability, or accuracy of content.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Car Hangout and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses – including third-party claims and reasonable attorneys' fees – resulting from your actions, content, or use of the App.
You may not use or export the App except as authorized by U.S. law. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to U.S. embargo or on a U.S. government restricted list.
We are not responsible for delays or outages caused by events outside our control (natural disasters, cyberattacks, technical failures, etc.).
If you provide Car Hangout with feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant us the right to use them freely without any obligation to compensate you.
Some features may be released in beta form or on a trial basis. These may not function as intended, and you use them at your own risk.
Car Hangout reserves all rights not expressly granted in these Terms.
Any claim or cause of action arising from these Terms must be filed within one (1) year of the event giving rise to the claim, or it will be permanently barred.
By using the App, you consent to receive communications from Car Hangout electronically, including push notifications, emails, or in-app messages. You agree these satisfy any legal communication requirements.
If used by U.S. government entities, the App is provided with restricted rights, and use is subject to applicable restrictions under U.S. law.
The App may include open-source software subject to its own license terms. To the extent required, those licenses govern your use of such components.
If you access Car Hangout through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, you acknowledge that Apple Inc. and Google LLC (and their subsidiaries) are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them.
These Terms are provided in English. Any translations are for convenience only. In case of conflict, the English version controls.
If you register as a vendor, business, or enterprise user, you remain an independent entity and are not an employee, partner, or agent of Car Hangout.
Car Hangout complies with applicable privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where required. Data processing is further detailed in our Privacy Policy and related Data Processing Addendum (if applicable).
Failure by Car Hangout to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision or of the right to enforce it later.
Car Hangout may assign or transfer its rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction, including in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Where possible, the unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid.
These Terms are binding upon and will inure to the benefit of the parties and their respective successors and permitted assigns.
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, joint venture, agency, or employment relationship between you and Car Hangout.
You agree that Car Hangout shall be entitled to equitable relief (including injunctions) to prevent unauthorized use, misuse, or infringement of its intellectual property, in addition to any remedies available at law.
All notices to Car Hangout must be sent to help@car-hangout.com. Notices to you may be delivered via email, in-app notifications, or postings within the App.
Sections relating to liability, indemnification, arbitration, intellectual property, and claims limitation will survive account termination.
Section titles are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available within the App and at our official website.
Use of the App is also subject to our Community Guidelines, which may be updated from time to time to reflect safety and community standards.
These Terms, together with Car Hangout's Privacy Policy, End User License Agreement (EULA), Vendor Agreement, Organizer Agreement, and Premium Membership Agreement, constitute the entire agreement between you and Car Hangout.
Car Hangout may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable in a specific jurisdiction, that provision shall be unenforceable only within that jurisdiction, and all remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect elsewhere.
You agree to indemnify Car Hangout for any costs, expenses, or liabilities incurred in connection with any governmental, regulatory, or law enforcement investigation arising from your conduct or content.
The section headings in these Terms are for convenience only and shall not have any legal or contractual effect.
In addition to the provisions specifically stated to survive, all provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
Car Hangout does not provide insurance of any kind. Users are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining appropriate insurance coverage for their vehicles, activities, or participation in any events.
If any portion of the arbitration agreement in these Terms is found unenforceable, the unenforceable portion shall be severed, and the remaining portions shall remain in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree that you will not seek, and hereby waive any right to seek, injunctive or equitable relief that would restrict or interfere with the operation of the App, its features, or Car Hangout's business.
You may not use the App to solicit or recruit other users, vendors, or organizers for competing services, businesses, or platforms without Car Hangout's prior written consent.
If any portion of the arbitration clause is found unenforceable, the class action waiver shall remain enforceable and in effect.
By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are not located in a country or territory subject to U.S. government embargoes, and that you are not a person prohibited from receiving U.S. exports under applicable U.S. laws and regulations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you waive any right to a jury trial in any legal proceeding related to these Terms.
All notices, communications, and legal documents related to these Terms shall be provided in English, and the English version shall control in the event of any conflict with translations.
